Bruce Craig
Space man / Director

Bruce graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University of Auckland in 1991, and became a registered architect in 1994.

Following an early career working for a number of prominent architectural firms in Auckland, and after completing work on several large scale commercial projects, Bruce took a year’s sabbatical.

Upon his return, he began his own practise as Bruce Craig Architecture, providing architectural services for residential and light commercial clients.

In conjunction with an interior designer, Bruce formed newImproved ltd in 2003, and spent the next 8 years designing and producing a diverse portfolio of projects, from industrial and furniture design, through set and event design to light commercial new buildings and interior fit outs. The focus became more and more on the users’ experience of the design, object, space or event.

In 2012 Bruce again took a year off to travel, this time with family in tow. Upon his return, he was enticed by the opportunity to join forces with True and True Space and the Space Man were born.

Bruce brings over 20 years of experience in the Architecture and design world to True Space. Married with 2 adult children and one young fella, Bruce lives in Ellerslie.
